Biography
Dr. Yukito SHINOHARA graduated from Keio University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan. He became Professor and Chairman of Neurology, Tokai University School of Medicine on 1983 and worked as a clinical neurologist, and clinical researcher of stroke and cerebral hemodynamics. He is currently Member at Large of World Stroke Organization, Immediate Past President of the Japan Stroke Society and the Asia Pacific Stroke Organization, and Chairman of the Japanese Stroke Guidelines in 2004 and 2009. His present  position is a Director, Federation of National Public Service Personnel Mutual Aid Associations Tachikawa Hospital, Tokyo, and Professor Emeritus, Tokai University School of Medicine. He published 201 original papers and 8 reviews in English, and also wrote more than 256 original papers and 500 reviews and text books in Japanese
