Neuropsychology & Behavioural Sciences

The study of the relationship between behaviour, emotion, and cognition on the one hand, and brain function on the other. Neuropsychology studies the structure and function of the brain as they relate to specific psychological processes and behaviours. Clinical Neuropsychology is a specialty in professional psychology that applies principles of assessment and intervention based upon the scientific study of human behaviour as it relates to normal and abnormal functioning of the central nervous system. The specialty is dedicated to enhancing the understanding of brain‐behaviour relationships and the application of such knowledge to human problems.
